Questlove’s Supreme Podcast podcast dropped a new episode on February 1st. His guest for this episode is the legendary Pino Palladino. Pino discusses his journey from working on hit songs in the 1980s through today, among other topics.

The folks at Playing For Change dropped another great video in celebration of Bob Marley’s birthday yesterday. In this clip, Afro Fiesta & Friends perform “Stir It Up,” with Fully Fullwood on bass.

Zander Zon is back with another stunning bass arrangement. He titled this one “The BEST MELODY EVER was written by a BASS PLAYER.” Check out Zander’s arrangement of The Beatles’s “Yesterday” for solo bass guitar in altered tuning.

Marcus Miller is back again with another killer performance. We catch him in Paris playing the tune ‘Detroit’ from the “Renaissance” album. This is definitely one of my all time favorites from Marcus.

I ran into Brad Williamson at this year's NAMM Show, and I'm glad I did. Here’s his fantastic all-bass arrangement of Animals as Leaders's "Thoughts and Prayers," which he performs on his FM 12 String Bass.

YYNOT’s annual Bubba Bash took place on January 6th to benefit Cedars-Sinai Hospital in memory of late Rush drummer Neil Peart. The band has started releasing videos from the show, including this performance on “YYZ,” with Mike Portnoy.

WDR Rockpalast posted this video from Jethro Tull’s “Swing In” documentary the other day. The film captures footage of the band in 1969. This lineup, of course, included bassist Glenn Cornick.
