Jazz Rock Fusion & Synthesizer Music took Chad Wackerman Trio’s “The City” video and remastered the audio from the long out-of-print DVD. This new version sounds amazing.

More videos are popping up from the Allman Betts Family Revival tour, which includes Tal Wilkenfeld on bass. Here’s one from the December 14, 2023 show in Spartanburg, SC. The video starts with a bass solo by Tal before the band kicks in on “Whipping Post.”

I always love when GroundUP Music drops a new video, and this one is excellent. From pianist Taylor Eigsti’s new album, “Plot Armor,” here’s the group (with bassist David Ginyard) performing “Bucket of F’s.”

For many years, I’ve loved the records of Jaco Pastorius during Herbie Hancock’s 1977 tour. Jaco was 25 at the time. Music Universe put together this video of three of Jaco’s solos during the tour, spanning three cities.

Multi-instrumentalist KNULP is back with a new cover, and this one is as impressive. Taking on George Harrison’s “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” KNULP handles all the instruments and vocals.

Juna Serita has been busy lately! We keep seeing videos pop up featuring the bassist, including this performance of “Blame It On The Boogie.”

It’s always nice to see another video from Aaron Gibson, and this is another he deems a “first draft.” This is “Peek at the Last Page,” which already sounds awesome to us.

I love going back to the Pat Metheny Group Tribute Band First Circle and their videos. Here’s one I recently enjoyed, with the band performing “Phase Dance” from PMG’s debut album, “Pat Metheny Group.”

Our good friend Lorenzo Feliciati sent us this video, which is the first single from his upcoming album, Second Rumble. “Morning Wow” showcases Lorenzo’s remarkable bass playing and composition skills.

Leland Sklar closed out 2023 with another one of his terrific videos, sharing stories, music, and some hilarious comments along the way. In this clip, he plays along to James Taylor’s “There We Are.”

We’re kicking off 2024 in one of our favorite ways: sharing a video from a reader. Nenad Vasilic sent us this performance of his wonderful tune, “San Francisco Dance,” from his album, “Bass & Strings.”
