Clive H Jones took Linkin Park’s “Heavy” and made it into a solo bass arrangement. He’s using one of the most interesting basses too: the Ibanez Ashula.

YYNOT is on tour right now, and they’re sharing some videos for everyone to enjoy. Fronted by the new vocalist Adi Argelazi, here’s Tim Starace and the band nailing Rush’s “Anthem.”

The folks at the Jaco Pastorius Archive sent us this digitally remastered clip of Jaco Pastorius and his Word of Mouth Big Band performing at the North Sea Jazz Festival on July 10, 1983. It sounds incredible.

I stumbled upon this video by Feng Suave and was an instant fan. Here’s the band performing five of their tracks live at Studio Helmbreker, Haarlem.

Scary Pockets just dropped another smooth funk cover, and this is one of my favorites by the band. Joined by guest vocalist Moira Mack and bassist Travis Carlton, here’s their take on the Etta James hit, “At Last.”

Crank Caviar has been dropping some fire content lately, including this new twist on a Phil Collins classic, “In the Air Tonight.” This cover features Antone “Chooky” Caldwell on 6-string bass bringing the heat! It’s locked in the pocket, for sure.

Most (if not all) of us have watched Jaco Pastorius’s “Modern Electric Bass” video with Jerry Jemmott. The riff Jaco plays in the opening credits is incredible. Scott Devine breaks it down in this video.

Scary Goldings dropped a new live video of them a couple of days ago, and that’s always an exciting thing for us. Check out John Scofield, MonoNeon, Lemar Carter, Larry Goldings, Jack Conte, and Ryan Lerman performing “Disco Pills.”

While I love spinning Snarky Puppy’s “Empire Central” on vinyl, I also love watching their videos of the live recording session. The band just dropped a new video for “Portal.”

Musician/producer Filippo Bubbico enlisted bassist Federico Malaman for this collaboration. “Weird Funk Crazy Song” has Federico playing two bass tracks – traditional and lead.

Evan Marien shared a video focusing on the excellent work of Jimmy Johnson, and in particular, a great fill he played during a live performance of “You’ve Got A Friend” with James Taylor.
