  1. I own a set. They are white!

  2. Hmm.. considering the thought! Currently using the Black Beauties med gauge on a 5 string.

  3. When it says they are white, what benefit is that when you’re playing? (Genuine question not trying to be an arse.)

  4. just leave the hands off them DR coated strings. They sure look cool, but just don´t sound at all. No brilliance, no bottom, no boom, no nothing. Tried them on MM Classic 5 and on 65 JB. Put them off right away.

  5. I’ve been flipping back and forth between Hi Beams and Black Beauties. Hi-Beams take a little time to break in and then break down, where Black Beauties sound good out of the box and last far longer. Of course the BBs are steel-coated strings. I can’t figure out what material the Whites are made out of.
