Balaguer Guitars Introduces the Hyperion Bass

Pennsylvania’s Balaguer Guitars has expanded their bass lineup with the Hyperion Bass. Modeled after a signature guitar, the new bass features an offset body in satin silverburst or satin trans black finishes.

“Pulling aesthetics from Ryan “Fluff” Bruce’s signature model Hyperion guitar, The Hyperion Bass has a slightly thicker body to evenly balance the weight and a 35? scale for clear and punchy tone,” Balaguer writes.

The standard Hyperion Bass is built with a three-piece mahogany neck reinforced by graphite rods, a mahogany body, and an ebony fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets. Other features include two J-style humbuckers, vintage Balaguer tuners, a hardtail bridge, and a graphite nut. The bass will be available in their Production Series with options of the two finishes, or in the Semi-Custom Series that allows for a choice of woods, scale length, and more.

The Balaguer Guitars Hyperion Bass is available for pre-order now with prices of $1,099 for the production model and starting at $999 for the semi-custom model.
