Warren Haynes will be taking his “Dreams & Songs Symphonic Experience” on the road again in spring 2027. The Gov’t Mule frontman will bring his solo band, including groove guru Kevin Scott, to perform with the symphony orchestras of Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and Nashville. The experience reimagines music from Haynes’ catalog, including music from Gov’t Mule, Allman Brothers Band, The Dead, his solo albums, and more.

“The one-of-a-kind, acclaimed live show will be stopping in Atlanta on March 7th, Pittsburgh on March 30th and Buffalo on April 1st in addition to Nashville for two previously announced shows on March 11th and 12th,” a press release explains. “All shows will be conducted by Rich Daniels of Chicago’s City Lights Orchestra, leading Warren and his all-star band alongside each city’s respective symphony orchestra.”

Scott has been by Haynes’ side since 2023 when he joined the Mule, reinvigorating the band with his mighty bass tone and creative improvisational style. He’s anchored the quartet’s sound with many guests and formats, but the upcoming tour has him excited.

“Playing with an orchestra has always been on my bucket list,” he tells us. “The power of hearing and feeling all the brass and strings is really something else. Playing a unison figure with low brass and strings will give you goose bumps. I’m grateful Warren asked me to do this with him and the band.”

Scott will also be with Haynes on upcoming Gov’t Mule shows. See below for Haynes’ current itinerary.
