Slipknot Bassist releasing “Behind The Player” DVD

Grammy® Award winning bassist Paul Gray of Slipknot is releasing Behind the Player: Paul Gray, an instructional DVD with behind-the-scenes look at Gray’s background and gear and in-depth video lessons.

The DVD covers two Slipknot tunes, “Surfacing” and “Duality” and a jam with drummer Roy Mayorga.

Anthony Wellington to lead Artist Series Master Class

Anthony WellingtonRenowned bassist and teacher Anthony Wellington is leading a Master Class in New York on October 25. The class is the next in a series of Aguilar Artist Series Master Classes, which featured jazz bassist Avishai Cohen last time around.

Wellington is also known for his work as the second bass player in The Victor Wooten Band.

Those wishing to attend need to RSVP to info@aguilaramp.com before October 24, 2008.
