Tony Levin, Steve Vai, and Danny Carey Bring “Frame by Frame” Back to the Stage

There is a lot to take in with BEAT’s live performance of King Crimson’s “Frame by Frame.”

You’ve got Adrian Belew, Steve Vai, Danny Carey, and Tony Levin all on the same stage, and everyone is absolutely cooking. The song hits hard from the start, with the band bringing plenty of power to one of the most recognizable tracks from the King Crimson catalog.  As great as the whole performance is, Tony Levin is impossible to take your eyes off. Watching him work through the Chapman Stick parts with such ease is a reminder of just how unique a player he is. The lines are intricate, the groove is deep, and everything locks together perfectly.
