Here’s a great clip from “Chicago In The Rockies,” featuring the band performing “Feelin’ Stronger Every Day” - and a cool story of how the song came to be.

The Drum Channel recently shared this incredible clip of The Jazz Ministry, the supergroup comprised of Abraham Laboriel Jr., Abraham Laboriel Sr., Michael Landau, and Greg Mathieson. Here they are performing “GOE” at the Drum Channel studios.

Back in 2007, Bela Fleck & The Flecktones performed the Byron Bay Bluesfest. Here’s a great clip of them playing “Throwdown at the Hoedown,” with that great intro by Victor Wooten.

After we shared the video of Lari Basilio performing “Man in the Mirror” in September, I bought the album. In addition to her remarkable playing, Basilio enlisted a killer band featuring Nathan East, Vinnie Colaiuta, and Greg Phillinganes. Check out the title track from “Far More.”

Kinga Glyk released her new album, “Feelings” on November 1st. Here’s another video she’s put together from the album, with the tune, “5 Cookies.”

I was binge-watching videos with Tony Levin when this clip came up in the recommendations. In 1988, Eddie Van Halen performed at the tribute concert titled “Les Paul & Friends.” He was joined by Jan Hammer, Tony Levin, and Jerry Marotta. They rocked the house.

The Who is releasing a new album on December 6th. But they got our attention today by sharing this clip of them performing “Baba O’Riley,” filmed on B-Stage at Shepperton Studios in 1978.

Back in 2008, Foo Fighters took the stage at Wembley Stadium. During the show, they were joined by some very special guests: Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page. So, of course, they decided to perform a Zeppelin tune.

“Funk #49” is one of my favorite tunes from back in the day, thanks to the killer bass line. Here’s a great clip of the James Gang on the Howard Stern Show back in 2006 performing the tune at Stern’s request.

Sometimes an older video hits the radar that’s so good, I have to check our archives to make sure we haven’t shared it before. Four years ago, Anton Davidyants teamed up with Valeriy Stepanov to record a cover of Mike Mainieri’s “Self Portrait.”

Chris Thile’s “Live from Here” show has a tradition: “If you’re on the show during your birthday week, you get to choose a song to play...” The show’s musical director and bassist, Mike Elizondo, chose “YYZ” for his birthday.

We’ve featured Aram Bedrosian’s excellent tune, “A Dark Light” before. He’s now recorded an acoustic version, using his Ortega Guitars Striped Suite ACB. I’ve always loved this tune, and it is cool to hear as an acoustic version.
