Fender is upping their bass pedal game this year with a full Bassman line of pedals. The five new stompboxes include the Driver, Fuzz, Compressor, delay and reverb models.
2. Ernie Ball Music Man Announces 2024 Bongo Collection
Ernie Ball Music Man has unveiled the 2024 Bongo Bass Collection, which includes four-, five-, and six-string models. Each bass model includes stainless steel frets and is available in four colors: Stealth Black, Titan Gray, Blood Orange, and Mantis Green.

5. Bill Wyman Announces First Album in a Decade
For the first time in nearly a decade, former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman has announced a new studio album. “Drive My Car” will arrive on August 9th to mark his first ninth solo effort.
6. Fuchs Audio Introduces the FAT112 Series of Bass Cabinets
Fuchs Audio has expanded its bass cabinet lineup with a new 1×12? unit. The FAT112 features a ported design and can be ordered with either a Neodymium or Ferrite-style speaker.

One of the most exciting tours of the year is BEAT, which will feature Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, Danny Carey, and Steve Vai performing music from King Crimson’s ’80s era. The band scheduled a run from September 12th to November 10th, but now they’ve announced a whole new leg due to popular demand.
