Belew, Levin, Carey, and Vai Announce 21 New BEAT Tour Dates

Beat

One of the most exciting tours of the year is BEAT, which will feature Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, Danny Carey, and Steve Vai performing music from King Crimson’s ’80s era. The band scheduled a run from September 12th to November 10th, but now they’ve announced a whole new leg due to popular demand.

The new dates will run from November 18th in Thousand Oaks, California, through December 18th in Highland, California. Though the second leg will start and end in California, it will see the quartet reaching as far as the Northeast.

The band’s repertoire will include music from three of King Crimson’s albums: Discipline, Beat, and Three of a Perfect Pair. Belew and Levin are deeply familiar with the music as they recorded it during their time in the band. King Crimson founder Robert Fripp has given his blessing to the whole tour.
