11-Year-Old Bassist Impresses with Steely Dan’s “Peg” – Chuck Rainey Would Be Proud!

We always love sharing videos by the next generation of bassists. When we saw this video posted by Arley McBlain, we couldn’t wait to feature it.

Arley’s son, “Biff” McBlain is an 11-year-old bassist who is starting off in an impressive way.

In this video, Biff takes on the legendary bass line by Chuck Rainey, on Steely Dan’s “Peg.” Arley said “it’s his first real song with slap technique.”
