Sublime’s Hometown Return Captured in Full: Warped Tour Long Beach 2025
Sublime returned to where it all started with a full-throttle performance at the 2025 Vans Warped Tour in Long Beach. The pro-shot set, clocking in at just over 85 minutes, is now online thanks to Moshpit TV, and it’s everything fans could hope for.
This was a true homecoming. Long Beach shaped Sublime’s sound in the early nineties, and the band helped shape Warped Tour from the very beginning. Nearly 30 years after the tour launched, Sublime’s name still carries weight and their set proved why.
Jakob Nowell stands front and center and he does an incredible job carrying his father’s legacy. His delivery hits hard and his vocal tone is so close to Bradley’s it’s almost eerie. There’s a rawness and familiarity that makes the whole performance feel personal.
Holding it all down is original bassist Eric Wilson. His tone is thick and warm, built for that laid-back Southern California groove. You can hear the reggae roots in every line, with the same feel that anchored the band’s earliest recordings. For longtime fans and low-end lifers, it’s a reminder of what Wilson has always brought to the table.
If you missed it live, don’t sleep on the replay. It’s a rare chance to see Sublime back in their element with the energy turned all the way up.
