Pino Palladino and Simon Phillips Deliver a Masterclass at Zoetermeer

Indian Summer starts with the whole band hitting the first line together and it grabs you right away. With a lineup of Simon Phillips, Pino Palladino, and Philip Saisse, you know youre in for a treat.  They drop the groove on the room and it is tight and driving from the jump. Philip Saisse is right in the middle of it throwing out chords and lines that keep the energy sharp.

Pino is on his Fender Jaguar Bass and you can hear the attitude in every note. He digs in hard and locks with Simon Phillips.  It is serious groove with a little grit around the edges. Pino sounds like he is having fun pushing the tune forward and leaning into every pocket he can find.

Indian Summer ends up hitting that sweet spot where everyone is pushing and no one is stepping on each other. It is tight loud and full of motion. Pino brings the weight Saisse brings the bite and Phillips keeps it all flying.
