Fresh off a Lifetime Achievement Award Mike Dirnt leads Green Day’s thunderous set in São Paulo

Mike Dirnt received Bass Magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award last night and to celebrate we’re sharing this full concert video of Green Day’s set from The Town 2025 in São Paulo.

As part of the ceremony Dirnt sat in with Primus and played his new Epiphone G3 signature bass. It was a fitting moment for a player whose style helped define a generation of rock bass.

This Green Day performance was filmed a few months earlier and captures Dirnt doing what he does best. The set includes classics like “Longview”, “When I Come Around”, and “American Idiot” with Dirnt’s tone and presence in every moment.

Watch the whole thing if you can but if you cant, “When I Come Around” was a big one at the Awards show
