Jack Bruce, Cream, and “Sunshine Of Your Love” Live at Royal Albert Hall in 2005
This is the third clip we’ve shared from Cream’s 2005 reunion run at Royal Albert Hall, and these performances have been getting tons of love on No Treble. The video may be newly released on Cream’s official YouTube channel, but the performance captures a moment that was already historic when it happened. Four nights in May 2005 with all the shows being sold out. A band that helped define electric bass-driven rock stepping back onto one of the world’s most iconic stages.
On “Sunshine Of Your Love,” Jack Bruce and Eric Clapton trade vocals and Bruce sounds right at home. He’s on his fretless Warwick, running through a Hartke rig. The tone is thick and vocal, with that signature mwah giving so much depth to the tone.
Three videos in, and this run is still delivering. If Cream keeps releasing these, we’ll keep watching.
