Keanu Reeves and Dogstar Hit Fallon with a Hard-Hitting Performance of “Joy”

We have been sharing a lot of Dogstar lately, and they keep giving us good reasons. The trio hit The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform “Joy,” with Bret Domrose on guitar and vocals, Robert Mailhouse on drums, and Keanu Reeves on bass. The appearance comes as the band continues its North American tour.

Keanu is still rocking his Fender PJ bass through his Gallien Krueger 2001 RB Legacy rig and RBH cabinets and it sounds huge here. There is plenty of pick attack and grind with that big bass sound filling out the trio.  “Joy” comes from All In Now, Dogstar’s fourth album, which was released May 29.

We have shared several Dogstar performances from this run but seeing them bring “Joy” to national television is worth another look. Turn it up.
