Angine de Poitrine Makes U.S. Late-Night Debut on The Tonight Show
Angine de Poitrine made their American late-night television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and performed “Zugzegk.”
The masked Quebec duo packs a lot into two people, with Khn de Poitrine jumping between bass and guitar on a custom Godin microtonal double neck and stacking layers with live looping while Klek de Poitrine holds it down on drums, creating a wild, twitchy sound that is somehow both precise and unhinged.
“Zugzegk” does not appear on Vol. 1 or Vol. II, suggesting the song is new and currently unreleased.
