Victor Wooten Announces Two Day Music Theory Camp
Victor Wooten has added a Music Theory camp to his VixCamps schedule at the Wooten Woods Retreat in Only, Tennessee. Scheduled for September 23rd and 24th, the educational event offers classes for beginning, intermediate, and advanced players in addition to full group classes.
The scheduled instructors are Victor Wooten, Anthony Wellington and Bob Franceschini, with more to be announced.
Subjects will include easy ways to learn key signatures, modes, reading music, melody and rhythm, and more. Students will also have the opportunity to jam together to help get a more complete understanding of the information they receive.
The camp’s tuition is $400 and is open to students ages 13 and up. There are no playing prerequisites. For more info, check out the VixCamps website.
