Aguilar Unveils Limited Edition SL112 in Bass “Cabernet”

Aguilar Amplification SL 112 in Bass Cabernet Aguilar Amplification has announced a limited edition of their SL 112 bass cabinet for 2015. Limited to 250 units, the cab will have a “Bass Cabernet” color finish as well as a limited edition label for the crossover.

The Bass Cabernet SL 112 will retain the features of the SL series with a lightweight design featuring neodymium drivers and a custom crossover. It’s fitted with a single 12-inch driver as well as a phenolic tweeter with an integral phase plug. The cab is rated at 250 watts RMS and weighs in at 25 pounds. Other features include a deluxe strap handle, rubber feet, a single Neutrik Speakon input and two 1/4-inch inputs.

Aguilar’s Bass Cabernet SL 112 will be released in January 2015 with a street price of $749.
