Eastwood Guitars Announces the Airline Jetsons Jr. Bass

Eastwood Custom Shop is reviving their former Airline 2P bass with a new model: the Airline Jetsons Jr. Bass. The retro design retains many of the same features with a few differences.
“Inspired by the discontinued Airline 2P Bass, the new Airline Jetsons Jr. Bass keeps the same ‘JB Hutto-style’ body shape, but now comes with a single, P-Bass style pickup,” Eastwood explains.
The bass will be built with a basswood body in either red or black with a maple neck and blackwood fingerboard. It’s a short scale, bolt-on design with only volume and tone controls, so the old school thump will be running deep on this one.
The Airline Jetsons Jr. Bass was introduced on Eastwood’s crowd-funding pre-order platform and will go into production once their goal of $1,200 is met. The bass has a pre-order deposit of $150 with a final price of $499, which includes a gig bag.
