ZVEX Effects Introduces the Vibrophase Pedal
Several years ago, ZVEX Effects created a sort of steampunk effect with the Candela Vibrophase.
The candle-powered unit was a vibrato/phaser machined from solid brass and glass. Now they’ve released the effect in a more manageable stompbox format.
“The Vibrophase [is] a five-knob four-stage phaser that creates phase and vibrato nuances never heard before,” the company writes. Its controls include Speed, Vibrato/Phase, Feedback, High Bias, and Low Limit. The last two knobs adjust the sweep on the top and bottom ends for dialing in your sound.
The ZVEX Effects Vibrophase is available for order at $269.
