Francois Rabbath to Celebrate 90th Birthday with Livestream

The legendary Francois Rabbath will be celebrating his 90th birthday this Friday, March 12th with a special livestream. The bassist, who has changed the face of double bass pedagogy, will be performing on the International Society of Bassists’ Facebook Page with his son Sylvain at the piano.
“You’ll be able to send Francois your best wishes for a very happy birthday in the comments for him to read later,” the ISB writes.
The concert begins at 7 PM in Paris, which is 12 PM Central/1PM Eastern/10 AM Pacific Time in the U.S. Be sure to follow the ISB Facebook page for details.
