Geezer Butler Launches NFT Graphic Novel
Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler has gotten into the NFT game for a good cause. He’s teamed up with YellowHeartNFT to unveil “The Antibody,” which is a graphic novel broken up into separate chapters as animated, limited edition NFTs to tell the story.
“In addition to the storyline and artwork, the NFT unlocks never before heard music,” Butler writes. “I’ll be donating my profits to charities benefitting the animals & people of Ukraine.”
“The Antibody” has artwork by KOL and music by Butler that is described as “mainly bass guitar.” Its storyline draws inspiration from the viral pandemic.
Butler shared a preview of the work on Twitter adding, “I know that not everyone is an NFT fan but I had fun putting a story together for this art. This clip actually started it all. Kol had created a couple of @AVFCOfficial pics of grounds. If it has to do with the Villa & charity… I’m in.”
The first installment of “The Antibody” is available now through YellowHeartNFT.
