Doug Ardito Exits Puddle of Mudd
Puddle of Mudd have announced that bassist Doug Ardito, who has been with the group for nine years, has left the band. The rockers have asked their friend Damien Starkey to fill in until a permanent bass player is found.
“It’s been a great 9 years of rocking the music of Puddle of Mudd with Doug,” said singer Wes Scantlin. “We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
Ardito joined Scantlin to create a new incarnation of Puddle of Mudd after Scantlin’s original band broke up and he moved to California. The band recently finished a U.S. headlining tour in support of their latest album, Volume 4: Songs in the Key of Love and Hate.
