Fender Introduces Rumble 800 Combo Amp
Fender’s Rumble Series of bass combo amps has expanded with its largest offering yet: the Rumble 800. Loaded with two 10-inch Eminence neodymium speakers and a compression horn, the unit is rated at 800 watts while weighing in at 29 pounds.
The Rumble 800 has versatility by way of three voicing options (Bright, Contour, Vintage) to quickly dial in an overall sound. From there, a four-band EQ and overdrive circuit let you carve out your tone and add grit. Other features include a switch for toggling the compression horn on or off, an XLR Lie out with ground lift and pre/post switches, an effects loop, an aux-in jack, a headphone jack, and an extension speaker jack.
Another interesting feature is the output power attenuator that Fender suggests is best for smaller gigs and practice.
The Fender Rumble 800 Combo will be shipping soon with a street price of $849.
