David Ellefson and Dieth Announce Debut Album, Release New Track

Last July, David Ellefson announced he had a new band with former Entombed A.D. guitarist/vocalist Guilherme Miranda and former Decapitated drummer Michal Lysejko called Dieth. Now the death-thrash project has revealed details of their debut album.
To Hell and Back will be released on June 2nd via Napalm Records. The record is described as “weaving a sinister thread of unrelenting tech-steeped death metal [and] rapid thrash bangers.” It will also feature the first-ever lead vocal performance from Ellefson.
“This album has been a terrific collaboration, building upon our past as we created a new sound together… we’re looking forward to unleashing the fury!”
The trio has released the title track ahead of the full album. “’To Hell And Back’ is the song that best describes our individual and collective journeys as professional musicians,” says Miranda. “For an album to connect with the listener, it has to have deep meaning, and this wraps up this whole moment for us. We’ve been to hell – and we’re back!”

To Hell And Back will be out on June 2nd on CD, vinyl, limited edition vinyl, and digital versions.
