Andy Fraser’s Bass Added to Rock Hall of Fame
Andy Fraser of the groundbreaking ’60s and ’70s band Free will have one of his basses put on exhibit in Cleveland, Ohio’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Fraser, who was a founding member of Free, was also the co-writer of their biggest hit, “All Right Now.”
The bass is a “one of a kind” custom made by Z-Guitars of the UK. Fraser used it recently to record his latest work, “This is the Big One”, which is the first single from his soon to be released album, Andy Fraser…On Assignment.
“The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum has become a premier institution in the music industry, long appreciated for its sense of giving and recognition,” Fraser says. “It is humbling that they honor me by the introduction of this classic instrument into their museum and I thank them.”
