Warren Haynes Band Digs Into Roots Rock and Blues at Amp Jam 2 with Kevin Scott on Bass

If you’ve got a couple hours to spare, this one’s worth throwing on. The Warren Haynes Band hit Amp Jam 2 on February 27, 2026 and just…settled in. Two full sets, more than two and a half hours, no rush to get anywhere.

On bass is Kevin Scott and its like he was born to team up with Warren. He’s mostly on his Moollon P-style, running through a vintage Ampeg rig.  The tone is big and warm, the type of tone that people reference when they use terms like “classic” or “vintage”.  Every now and then he switches it up. A Gibson Grabber shows up and suddenly there’s a little more mids. Later he grabs a Music Man and things get a bit tighter and punchier.

Throw it on, let it run, and don’t worry about skipping around. This one works best when you just live in it for a while.
