Gear Watch: Heads Up Strap
Designer Joe Naylor has introduced the “Heads Up Strap”, a new guitar/bass strap made to keep heavy instrument necks from sinking down into an unplayable position, even with hands off. It works by adding three lead weights in a Velcro pocket to the body end of the strap. The weight is adjustable simply by adding or removing the weights to suit your bass.
The strap itself is 2-3/4 inch wide and made of heavy-duty polypropylene material with double-sided leather end tabs. It adjusts from 38 to 62 inches.
The Heads Up Strap has an MSRP of $49.99.

Just what we bass players (don’t) need; mo’ weight on our shoulders.
