Gear Watch: Fender Announces Roger Waters Precision Bass

Roger Waters Precision BassFender has introduced a new Roger Waters Precision to their line of basses, named after the Pink Floyd bassist.

The bass features a black-on-black color scheme (black body and black, single-ply pickguard), and is equipped with Seymour Duncan Basslines SPB-3 Quarter-Pound split-coil Precision Bass pickup, knurled black control knobs (master volume, master tone), brass nut, black bridge and strap buttons, vintage ’70s-style “Fender”-stamped open-gear chrome tuners, and gasketed “F”-stamped neck plate.

The 9.5″-radius maple neck includes a vintage-style truss rod and slotted truss rod nut, maple fingerboard with 20 medium jumbo frets, a gloss urethane finish. A deluxe gig back is also included.

    my P bass looks exactly like this but with grey nobs and the maple fretborad has sort of faded to yellow, and the paint has began to wear on the contours, but i think it looks gorgeous, but so does this

    I love Fender P basses. Roger Waters is a very special bassist, writer, artist, etc…I would love to have this one!

    I have a 1973 Amercian P bass and a 1995 MIM P bass. Both upgraded with Badass Bridges.
