The Jelly Jam Re-Release First Two Albums, Finish Up Third

The Jelly JamThe Jelly Jam, a prog-rock trio featuring Dream Theater’s John Myung on bass, has had its first two albums re-released as high-resolution MP3 downloads on the Molken Music website. The band, rounded out by King’s X guitarist/vocalist Ty Tabor and Dixie Dregs drummer Rod Morgenstein, put out their eponymous debut in 2002 followed by The Jelly Jam 2 in 2004.

In addition to the re-releases, a new download called “Additives” features previously unheard audio, ringtones, and complete stem mixes for the song “I Can’t Help You.” The stem mixes include separate files of bass, drums, guitars and vocals so that you can enjoy individual performances or remix the song with digital audio software. “Additives” contains a total of 23 minutes of audio.

Fans of the trio can rejoice at upcoming new material. Myung and the gang are currently wrapping up production on their third album, “Shall We Descend,” which will be released on Molken Music in early 2011. It will be their first new album in over six years.
