Dunlop Announces MXR M87 Bass Compressor Pedal
NAMM 2011 saw the release of the newest addition to MXR’s Bass Innovations pedal line, the M87 Bass Compressor. Featuring a an 10-LED meter to indicate Gain Reduction, the stompbox has all the standard compressor controls, including Attack, Release, Ratio, Input, and Output.
The new pedal also utilizes the company’s Constant Headroom Technology, which is a circuit that provides extra headroom by producing 18-volts from a single 9-volt battery or external power source.
The M87 is housed in a lightweight-aluminum chassis and features true bypass. The pedal will be available this month with a street price of $189.99. For more info, visit the Jim Dunlop website.
