Give her LOTS of credit…plays impeccably…next to pop icon Bowie…5-string…great voice and in a dress – how ’bout that, folks?

    Great performance!

  4. come on… the bass is super simple, but the vocals are awesome.

  5. Simple, maybe- but note the evenness of attack and the time- that’s what good bass is all about… not always incredible chops.

  6. Now that’s how you do a cover!

  7. And she sings pretty damn good at the same time…!

  8. Finally, an old school video where the bass player actually performs on stage instead of in front of a computer!

  9. Bass playing with soulful tension and release, awesome.

All of the above, great bass, great vocals, great looks. Not just ‘performing’ although you see/sense the tension in getting it right. Not really fair to call it a cover, but a fabulous rendition. Moved me and made me proud to be bass.
