Rotosound Introduces 45-100 Gauge Nickel String Set to Swing Bass Range
Rotosound have expanded their Swing Bass line of strings to include a set of 45-100 gauge nickel strings. The company says the new set of nickel strings have a more muted and smoother tone than its stainless steel brethren, which make up most of the Swing Bass series, and that they offer a softer feel.
As with the rest of the Swing Bass sets, the 45-100 gauge nickel strings are round wound – an innovation that Rotosound developed for the Who’s John Entwistle in 1962. The rest of the range varies in gauge, number of strings, and scale lengths.
The Rotosound Swing Bass 66 45-100 gauge nickel string set are available now with a list price of $39.95.
