Five Finger Death Punch Announce New Bassist
The members of Los Angeles-based Heavy Metal band Five Finger Death Punch have announced their newest member to be bassist Chris Kael. Kael will be filling the gap left by Matt Snell, who was released from the band in December for unspecified reasons.
The band, which is nearing completion on their third studio album and follow up to 2009’s War is the Answer, says fans will have the chance to see him this summer, with plans to get on the road.
Kael is also excited to get going with the band, saying his efforts have paid off.
“Never give up on your dreams,” he said. “I’m living proof that, with hard work and a little bit of luck, they can come true.”
In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast. Kevin appreciates all genres of music, from R&B to metal and everything in between. Connect with Kevin on Facebook and check his performance schedule on his website.
Matt was awesome. I hope Chris Kael can fill his shoes.
