Snapshots Foundation Posts Carol Kaye Interview

Carol KayeThe Snapshots Music & Arts Foundation has posted an extensive 6-part interview with legendary session bassist Carol Kaye, whose playing can be heard on thousands of tunes ranging from Sonny and Cher’s “The Beat Goes On” to The Beach Boys’ “Good Vibrations.” The interview ranges on topics including Kaye’s background, why she picked up bass, the art making music, and more.

The Snapshots Foundation was formed to provide “arts access to students and the public by documenting the biographical history and musical performances of some of today’s greatest artists through film.” By doing so, the foundation seeks to preserve the music history and performances of our greatest artists, and we agree Carol Kaye is a fine example.

The Snapshots interview with Carol Kaye is available for free streaming on their website’s interview section.
