G&L Unveils 2012 Special Collection with Three Limited Edition Basses

G&L has announced their 2012 Special Collection, which includes three new limited edition basses. The lineup takes some of the company’s existing models and gives them a new “Nearly Naked” (NENA) finish in a Honey Ale color. G&L’s NENA is a super thin finish that uses a proprietary finishing technique for a naturally balanced appearance while staying durable.

The basses in the series are the JB, the M-2000, and the M-2500, all of which are built with two-piece swamp ash bodies, maple necks, and rosewood fingerboards. The JB also has a NOS Baltic Amber pickguard for protection as well as aesthetic appeal.

  1. G&L basses are very good/solid basses with a very good tone. I’m a big fan of G&L.

  2. I’m really liking the look of the JB. Great job on the pickguard. Bass has a vintage look.
