JoStLe Live: Lee Sklar, Steve Bailey and Jonas Hellborg

During the 2012 Musikmesse show, bassists Lee Sklar, Steve Bailey and Jonas Hellborg took the stage, along with drummer Chester Thompson.

Bass awesomeness ensued.

The song was written by Sklar and Bailey, who hadn’t named it yet (maybe you can suggest a name in the comments for them).

  8. This sounds like what you would feel like the next day after doing something stupid the night before. Perhaps it should be named “What Was I Think’in?”. But whatever you call it hurry up and release it. I really like Sklar’s rhythmic groove.

  9. Move ahead 57 seconds to hear the actual sound. But this sounds like that dopey feeling you get the next day after doing something stupid the night before. Perhaps it should be named “What Was I Think’in?”. But whatever you call it hurry up and release it. I really like Sklar’s rhythmic groove.

Perhaps it should be named “What Was I Think’in?”. But whatever you call it, hurry up and release it. I really like Sklar’s deep rhythmic grooves on this. For those who don’t know, Sklar is the old hermit looking guy. But he can play his b___ beard off.
