Nikki Sixx Writing New Material, Launches Sixx Sense Magazine

Nikki SixxMötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx has been keeping busy, according to a teaser on his Facebook page. After premiering the new song “Sex” earlier this year, the band has been working on more new material. Though he said there were no plans for a new album earlier this summer, it seems we can be expecting something soon.

“Obviously there is much more to come (as always),” he said. “Mick Mars told me he has so many riffs ready to go too… I’ve personally been writing my ass off for months now. Feeling really inspired to follow it up with the rest of the songs from the band too.”

Sixx Sense MagazineIn other news, the bassist has launched a new magazine spinoff of his syndicated radio show. “Sixx Sense: The Magazine” will feature over 40 pages of exclusive content from the radio broadcast as well as new interviews with Nikki, co-host Kerri Kasem, and more.

“I am really proud and excited to extend the Sixx Sense – Best Rock On The Radio campaign at Best Buy with a first-time-ever Sixx Sense magazine,” said Sixx. “This is a partnership based on passion and love of music.”
