  1. I love Dean basses. I have an Edge 5 fretless (older model,) and a Rhapsody. I picked them up used and for not very much money. Great bang for the buck.

  2. I got a Dean Edge 4 used in 2002 for about $300. Never had any reason to complain, but when I chose to take it in for a much needed tune-up earlier this year, I found out my Korean model had some piss-poor, not-in-the-catalog eletric parts including the internal pre-amp system for the dual EMG-HZ pick-ups. Now it sounds like a dream. Clear, powerful and in my opinion the best thin neck around.
