The Misfits Announce U.S. Tour Dates

The MisfitsHorror punk icons The Misfits will be heading out on a U.S. tour this fall in support of their latest release, Dea.D Alive!. The outing kicks off on October 6th at Evolution in Nashua, New Hampshire and stretches from the Northeast to the West Coast and back again.

Fronted by sole original member and bassist Jerry Only, the Misfits’ latest release is a collection of live tracks taken from their Halloween shows last year in New York City’s Times Square and in New Jersey. It focuses on the band’s post-1983 material, most of which has never been properly given a live release.

“There’s a young audience for the Misfits; new generations discover us every day,” Only told Rolling Stone in January. “There’s only so much ground you can cover on one album. We wanted to focus on the second and third wave of the Misfits’ evolution with DEA.D.ALIVE, because none of these songs have ever been included on a proper live Misfits album before.”
