Fodera Announces Monarch 4 Fretless Standard Bass

Fodera Monarch 4 Fretless Standard Bass

Fodera has once again added to their Standard line of basses with the Monarch 4 Fretless Standard. Initially limited to 15 pieces, the new model is the first fretless in the series, which offers batches of basses built in a single configuration with no options to keep wait time and prices to a minimum.

The new bass features a walnut body with a figured claro walnut top, a one-piece red oak neck, and an ebony fretboard with fret lines. Its pickups are a pair of Fodera’s dual coils matched to a Fodera/Pope Standard 3-band preamp. Hardware includes a black Fodera 19mm standard bridge.

The Fodera Monarch 4 Fretless Standard Bass is available for pre-order with a list price of $4,950.
