  1. nice work fender, might annoy some pureists but its only like 50 years since the last proper design update??? lol kinda looks lika a g&l copy mixed with a music man bass. is leo still desinging from the grave? would still like to try it out for a blast

  2. also i see fender have on their site that they r the company that invented eletric bass??? wonder what paul tutmarc woud have to say about that?

  3. I guess my invitation got lost in the mail…

  4. Excellent. They finally added something genuinely new to the range. I hope it cuts the mustard and becomes a proper new fender that stands with the p and the J

  5. Nice, at last something new from Fender, with a reasonable price. 5 strings and two pickups I would be my choice.

  6. I plan to buy one because no matter if it catches on or dies some one will pay big money for it… as a one off or as a first generation classic!

  7. Pretty nice pickguard design and good to see native active/passive circuits control on board! We had during the last week down here in São Paulo – Brazil, the ExpoMusic 2013, the biggest event on the musical scenario in Latin America, but the local Fender trading company didn´t bring those beauties to show them here. My option if I could ask one for Santa: Deluxe Dimension IV, Aged Cherry Burst, H/H, rosewood fingerboard.

  8. Great. Finally a truly new design instead of infinite variations on the J and P basses. That being said I would also like modernized version of the aforementioned models. Can we finally say goodbye to 20 fret necks?

  9. I like the layout but they are kind of like Sting rays. The way the controls are layed out and the wheel truss rod.

  10. Reminds me a lot of G&Ls basses… Nice to see Fender introducing new stuff to the market. I would defenitely get a Deluxe Dimension IV, Violin Burst (honey burst) with a black pickguard, double humbucker model.

  11. I played a single humbucker and it sounded great.

  12. Sweet! They sound good even through my computer speakers!

I Bought a used American fender Dimension v bass guitar for
    $1200,99 and I love it.
    The body color is Cayenne.
    It was manufactured in 2013.
My question is why fender discontinued manufacturing
    the American fender Dimension
