Schecter Unveils Session Series Basses
Schecter has introduced the Session series of basses, which they describe as combining “no frills looks with high end electronics.” The series includes four and five string basses in the company’s Stiletto and Riot body styles.
Each of the models features a contoured swamp ash body and 6-bolt Canadian Maple neck. The 24-fret maple fingerboard is accented with ebony offset block inlays for fret markers. The basses are fitted with a pair of EMG pickups as well as a 3-band active EQ with bass, mid, and treble controls. Hardware includes Grover Vintage tuners, a GraphTech Tusq nut, and a Schecter Thru-body bridge.
The Session Series Stilleto and Riot basses are available now with street prices of $599 for a four-string and $549 for a five-string. Left handed models can be had for a $50 upgrade. For more info, check out the Schecter website.
