Sometimes a video shows up that is just plain fun to watch. THIS IS NOT A.I. from Charles Berthoud is exactly that. Charles is doing what he does best. Playing impossibly clean lines with ridiculous control and making it all look easy. The concept is simple, this is a human playing bass at a very high level and you can feel it in every note.

He is playing his signature bass from Schecter, and it sounds massive. Clear and focused with plenty of punch. The bass feels like an extension of his hands which is always a good sign.

If you are a bass player, this one is worth a few minutes of your time. It is inspiring, entertaining, and a nice reminder that great playing still comes from real people putting in real work.
