TC Electronic Introduces Ditto X2 Looper
TC Electronic has followed up on last year’s compact Ditto looper pedal with the Ditto X2. The pedal builds on its predecessor with a dedicated start/stop button, looper effects, and a loop import/export feature for loading premade loops.
The Ditto X2 offers up to five minutes of looping with unlimited overdubs and undo/redo functions. It also stores loops when it is powered off to save your work. The pedal features true bypass and analog-dry-through.
The X2 adds a second footswitch that can be assigned to stop the loop, reverse the loop, or play the loop at half speed. Each mode is set with a mini-toggle switch to the right of the Loop Level knob. Backing tracks are able to be loaded into the pedal or created in the pedal and exported to your computer.
