Bass of the Week: DiPinto Guitars Belvedere Deluxe Bass
The DiPinto Belvedere Deluxe bass is a hot rod with strings. The retro styled bass has is adorned with an extensive pearl pickguard, white binding, star inlays in the fretboard and a sparkle finished headstock.
The bass is built with a semi-hollow mahogany body, a bolt-on maple neck, and ebony fingerboard. DiPinto adds some extra flair with chrome covers for each of the single coil pickups as well as their Tune-o-matic bridge and trapeze tailpiece. Controls include a three-way pickup selector, a volume knob, and a master tone knob.
The DiPinto Belvedere Deluxe is available left or right-handed and in three colors: black, blue, and red. For more, check out DiPinto Guitars’ website.

I love the DiPinto Belvedere Deluxe. I bought one after seeing and hearing Jamaaladeen Tacuma play one. It is an amazingly versatile -bass – tons of punch.
I know judging an instrument by its looks is absurd, but this made me want to vomit a little bit – spangly pick guard and baby blue gloss… no thanks.
