Chris Squire Working on Autobiography

Chris Squire

Yes founder and bassist Chris Squire is in the process of writing his autobiography, with the help of his actor friend Vincent Gallo, according to an interview with BANG Showbiz.

They’ve been working on the book for about a year, Squire says. The pair meet and talk about Squire’s life, then Gallo transcribes the conversations.

No deal yet exists for the work-in-progress, but Squire, 66, tells BANG Showbiz that he hopes to wrap up the writing process in about a year. The book is expected to cover drug and road experiences, along with Squire’s early life and of course, the music.

The next Yes album, Heaven and Earth, is scheduled for a July 8th release.

  1. Looking forward to reading it.

  2. I wonder if he’ll discuss the day Yes had to cancel a day of recording “Tales from Topographic Oceans” on account of the bad hash Ozzy gave them, the same stuff that Ozzy thought killed his local vicar. ;)
