Georgia Anne Muldrow Releases “Ms. One” with MonoNeon

Georgia Anne Muldrow: Ms. OneMonoNeon, a lefty known for playing a right-handed bass upside down, has brought his style to Georgia Anne Muldrow’s rap/experimental EP, Ms. One.

Muldrow, the daughter of musicians — her late father invented instruments for Eddie Harris — has put together a rap collection that still harkens back to a love of 70s jazz/soul/funk sounds. It’s the first full rap record for Muldrow, a multi-instrumentalist and free-form singer who has been putting out jazz/funk/R&B records since 2006.
